Hurghada, Égypte

La semaine dernière, mon équipe et moi avons eu 5 jours de repos au soleil d'Hurghada en Égypte. Le but étant d'avoir un congé sans le décalage horaire de la maison et avec la chaleur d'été bien mérité!

À Hurghada, nous sommes sur le bord de la Mer Rouge. À ce temps-ci de l'année, le vent est fort et donc c'est parfait pour le kitesurfing et planche à voile!

Out of the 5 full days we were there, only 2 were warm enough to sunbathe, so we took advantage of it all!

Our second day, we went on a special day trip. We did a safari tour in the desert!
We rode the real deal bad ass desert jeeps...unfortunately they didn't let us ride up there...:)

En conduisant, nous avons aperçu un mirage au loin. Apparemment, les mirages commencent à apparaître quand la température est juste autour de 20'c.

I couldn't run down the sand dune due to my ankle injury, so instead I made sand angels!

Après avoir conduit une heure dans le désert, nous sommes arrivés à un village de bédouins(ceux qui habitent dans le désert). Il était fortement recommandé de porter le foulard sur le visage pour le tour de quatre roues.

Camel riding! Erin makes it look like it's super fast, but in reality it's slow paced.

On peut maintenant croché de notre liste avant de mourir: faire un tour de chameau dans le désert!

Then we got to do dune bugee rides!

And Quad rides into the sunset!

The ladies have the be vailed at all times in public. The only time they can take it off is around their husband inside their house or with a group of other ladies in private.
Also, when they get married, the husband offers the bride as many camels as their wealth can afford.

En soirée, il y avait un spectacle de danse et magie. Le gars ici avait un long couteau dans le creu de sa gorge quand Elli et Erin ont montés sur lui...

They lit up the entire mountain after the show!

All in all, our trip was quite Horosho!!( Ok,good in Russian!)

We had to finish it off with the Egyptian pose on the beach at sunset....but maybe we'll need to practice our form beforehand next time!!
